God's Gift

God has given me many gifts in life.
First, He gave me the basic necessities,
Like my life, food, shelter, and good health.
He also gave me the eye to see beauty,
The beauty of this great world,
Like the sunset, rainbow, rain, moon
And flowers, clouds, green grass, and the
Deep blue sea.

God has also sent down especially for me
Love--the love I give to everyone I know
Care--from my family and friends
Hope--to build a successful future.
and
Dreams--to fulfill my ambitions.

All these, I thank Him for.

But, He gave me something even more special.
God gave me a family I love.
Though not perfect, I am grateful for them.
Not only that, He gave me a wondrous gift,
A gift not many people can cherish more than I do.
The gift of friendship--a true and lasting one,
A friend who is always there
A friend who always shows he cares,
A friend who is more than just a friend,
A brother to seek to for guidance
When no one else is near.
The Almighty God has sent down YOU,
An obedient son and caring brother,
A respectful peer and a hardworking student,
And most of all, a very loving and special friend.
I thank the Lord, for including in this society
An angel like you.
Thank you and always remember
God loves you and so do I, my friend.
