MELISSA, BRIAN, and NATHALYN "Stalkers" Melissa Celano, 19, a freshman in Washington College and Brian Quezada, 19, a freshman in Rutgers University has been a good friend to me throughout high school. I first knew Brian in freshman year. We were friends but we really didn't talk much. We had our fun in lab at the end of the year when he joined Qwana and I in dissecting frogs. I met Melissa sophomore year in Algebra II. She was just new to the school but we hit it off right away. Together with Brian, Melissa and Brian would wait for me to walk together to Algebra II class. I got closer to Brian this year since he confided in me more. I began to learn more about him. Him and I walked to lunch together after my Algebra II class and his Physics class. Melissa, on the other hand, proved to be a really funny person. We were shocked at our 100+ average in class and we often laugh about it. All 3 of us had our fun in sophomore year. Of course, between Brian and I, there were moments of awkwardness, but through it all, he was still a very good friend of mine and I cared for him as any friend would. Junior year, I was still close to Melissa, sharing Pre-Calculus with her. It was fun especially when we both didn't know what we were learning. I often write her nursery rhymes in her textbook to pass my time quicker. Tests were hard and I often failed it. But, if it weren't because of Melissa, I would have just cried it out. Instead, I laughed about it. Brian didn't share any classes with me but we still talked when we had the chance. Come senior year, it was the three of us again, having the same gym class and me and Melissa in the same Calculus class and homeroom. She considered me as her math and homeroom buddy. Brian on the other hand became my #1 abuser (along with Matt Adams) in gym class, constantly picking Robin and I up and twirling us around in his arms. Yeah, I suppose we were kind of light. It was also this year that 2 surprises came from Melissa and Brian. First, they started to go out! I was shocked. It never occurred to me that they had feelings for each other until that day when Robin came running into my homeroom to tell me about it. When they entered the school building holding hands, my jaws were wide open! But I eventually got over the shock until another jaw opener came with this romantic couple playing a joke on me. They made it out to seem that there was a stalker in school out to get me. I could have killed them for it but hey! No big deal. It became our inside joke until the year ended. Brian and Melissa they are a great couple. They held on to a relationship that most people would never have done. But I know that they love each other very much for them to have done that. I can understand what they're going through since I'm in a long-distance relationship myself to someone I love very much. "Brian and Melissa" . These two words, I pray, would continue to be said, side by side, like how it's supposed to be for always. More power to them and more love. | Basic Info About Me| Friends | Family | Love | Interests | Dedication Page | |
